The government has set aside
some $33 million to finish rebuilding Cambodia’s northern rail line by late
next year. The railway hopes to start in September 2015, with trains running
between Phnom Penh and Poipet by 2017. For Phnom Penh to Sihanouk Ville, it
already started running the full length of the 266-km in December 2012.
