Demand for Cambodia’s Palm Sugar Increases at International Markets

Local and foreign demands for organic palm sugar, especially from Kampong Speu province, have increased remarkably this year. In 2016, the community is expected to produce around 250-260 tons of palm sugar, up from 180 tons last year. This year the company is planning to export some 160 tons of palm sugar while only 110 tons have been collected.
