The Food and Agriculture
Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) expects world fish production to rise
2.6% from last year to 168.6 million tons in 2015. "Supply in 2015 is
likely to see a small rebound in wild catches from the 2014 El Niño-related
shortfall, to 90.6 million tons, and a further 5% growth in aquaculture
production to 78 million tons."
