Cambodia’s Angkor Wat Historical Park, a
world heritage site, welcomed 2.35 million international tourists in 2014, up
5% year-on-year. Seam Reap province’s heritage site earned a gross revenue of
USD59.3 million from ticket sales last year, up 3% year-on-year. The entrance
fee to the Angkor Historical Park costs USD20 a day (foreigners only), USD40
for a three-day visit and USD60 for a week-long visit. The park was inscribed
on the World Heritage List in 1992 and is now the kingdom’s largest cultural
tourist destination.
