Cambodia reported 2.78 million registered
automobiles and motorcycles as of last year, up 15% year-on-year. The figures
showed that the Southeast Asian nation has about 429,000 cars, buses, and
trucks by last year, up 5 % year-on- year and some 2.35 million motorcycles, up
about 17%. Vehicles are mostly purchased from Japan, Thailand, South Korea,
China, the United States, Germany and Britain. Japan-branded vehicles are the
most popular ones in Cambodia.
