02 December 2014

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a new Cambodia Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) and investment plan from 2014-2018 is set at over US$800 million in concessional finance over the five-year period.

In particular, ADB will support higher agricultural productivity and commercialization, build rural and urban infrastructure, improve natural resource management, including building resilience to adverse climate change effects, and support trade and transport facilitation. Other activities include upgrading secondary education and targeted skills development, especially for the poor, through technical and vocational education and training linked to the evolving demands of the labor market.
