The Asian
Development Bank (ADB) has approved a new Cambodia Country Partnership Strategy
(CPS) and investment plan from 2014-2018 is set at over US$800 million in
concessional finance over the five-year period.
In
particular, ADB will support higher agricultural productivity and
commercialization, build rural and urban infrastructure, improve natural
resource management, including building resilience to adverse climate change
effects, and support trade and transport facilitation. Other activities include
upgrading secondary education and targeted skills development, especially for
the poor, through technical and vocational education and training linked to the
evolving demands of the labor market.
