China’s Tianjin Province Invests Over US$800 Million in Cambodia in 2014

China’s Tianjin province has invested in 11 projects in Cambodia with a total investment value of more than US$800 million, while the bilateral trade between Cambodia and Tianjin reached US$37.76 million in 2013.

Four companies from Tianjin province have successfully invested in Cambodia in the fields of medical equipment, construction, garment and textile, light industry, food industry, etc. Cambodia’s economic growth is roughly 7% every year and the total Cambodia’s trade exchange volume with the world was approximately US$16 billion. China’s investment in Cambodia ranked first with a total value of US$10 billion since 1994.
