Google
introduces its Street View image-collecting project for Phnom Penh, Siem Reap
and more than 10 other provinces in Cambodia.
Launched
late last week, Steet View will allow users to navigate 360-degree images of
streets, markets and landmarks in the cities and provinces. Users can explore
Phnom Penh’s Wat Phnom, Royal Palace gardens and the majority of the city’s
streets and markets. They can also enter and explore central market and outside
of Phnom Penh.
The
project comes after Google launched an interactive map of Angkor Archaeological
Park in Siem Reap in April, allowing users to explore more than 100 temples,
including Angkor Wat, through panoramic images.
