Visiting Director
for Asia and the Pacific Region at the International Fund for Agricultural
Development (IFAD) has expressed IFAD’s strong will to expand its cooperation
with Cambodia.
In a
meeting here with Cambodian Minister of Economy and Finance IFAD Director lauded
the good cooperation between IFAD and Cambodia, stressing that IFAD would like
to expand its cooperation with Cambodia in contribution with the Royal
Government of Cambodia’s efforts to reduce poverty and develop the agricultural
sector, said an official of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
During the
last two decades, Cambodia was ranked among the five fastest-growing economies
in the world, adding that the achievements were inseparable from the IFAD’s
support and assistance.
