In the first quarter of this
year, Cambodia earned a total customs revenue of some 1,470 billion Riel,
roughly equivalent to US$363 million, an increase by nearly 13% if compared to
the same period in the previous year. In March this year, the General
Department of Customs and Excise collected some 522 million Riel or US$129
million, up around 17% as compared to March last year.
