Election officials said that there was no complaint filed at the first day of council election campaign starting from 2 May 2014. Five political parties – the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), Royalist Funcipec Party, League for Democracy Party (LDP) and Democracy Republic Party are eligible for upcoming provincial, municipal and district council election on 18 May 2014.
