A workshop on
“Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Action Plan for Cambodia’s ICT
Master Plan Project” was held by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. Cambodia’s
ICT Master Plan is being created to set an outlook and plan for the development
of Cambodia’s ICT in line with the Rectangular Strategy-Phase III of the
National Strategic Development Plan 2014-2018 as well as with the ASEAN ICT
Master Plan by 2015.
The Ministry said the establishment
of the ICT Master Plan is very necessary to develop the information and
communications technology sector in Cambodia, to boost the country’s prosperity
and to facilitate the people’s living through using the information and
communication technology.
