The enhancement of
social morality and women’s value and Khmer families is a government’s strategic
plan. Minister of Women’s Affairs said that morality derives from human factor,
so the ministry, in cooperation with relevant institutions and civil social
organizations, have joined hand in hand to strengthen law enforcement and other
policies to mainstream the gender issue in all sectors as well as national and
sub-national development plans. In this regard, the Ministry has to participate
in keeping strengthening good governance and providing other social services to
make people live in safety, order, good moral and dignity and mutual respect.
