The volume of bilateral trade exchange
between Cambodia and USA in the first 11 months of last year was recorded at
US$2.96 billion, up some 6% if compared to the same period a year earlier.
During this period Cambodia’s exports to the
U.S. were valued at about US$2.65 billion, up 2.83% over the same period of
2013, while the country’s imports from the U.S. were amounted to US$309
million, up 44.3%. The U.S. now is the second largest market for Cambodian
products after the EU. The total trade volume of Cambodia last year reached
US$18.13 billion, indicated a report of the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce,
stressing that the country exported products with a total amount of US$7.69
billion and imported products with a total value of US$10.43 billion. The
biggest export markets for Cambodia are the EU, America, Asia and Oceania.
