The Association of Southeast Asian
Nations (ASEAN) will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year and a joint
tourism campaign. The Campaign’s main targets are visitors from Europe, the
Middle East, North America, China, Japan, South Korea, India and Australia. ASEAN hopes that 121 million travellers will
visit the region in 2017, an increase from 108 million in 2015. It could
generate US$83 billion next year compared with US$75 billion in 2014.
