Cambodia and Laos have reached
a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation on trademarks and place of
origin. The signing also aimed to strengthen cooperation between the two
countries on intellectual property promoting economic cooperation between the
two countries and their efforts to integrate into the regional economy as well
as the implementation of the economic development strategy of the ASEAN
Community and Millennium Development Goals.
