Cambodia’s
Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) revealed three officials who denied to declare their
assets and debts. ACU said that three officials, Vong Sopheap, former advisor
for Senate Secretariat General, and Kheang Leap, also former advisor for Senate
Secretariat General and Yorn Sokleang, former board member of Toek Thla
commune, Sen Sok district of Phnom Penh haven’t yet announced the assets and
debts. ACU said that those who refused to announce the assets and debts would
face from one month to one year imprisonment, and would be fined from 10
million riel (US$2,500) to 20 million riel (US$5,000).
