Prime Minister and Chairman of National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD) Ke Kim Yan had expressed the NACD’s strong commitment to continue to prevent drug abuse so
as to reduce and then eliminate completely the drug use in the country. Addressing
to the NACD’s annual meeting, he said 2,713 serious drug victims are being
treated in state and private provisional rehabilitation centers throughout the
country in 2013. In 2013, 889 cases of drug offenses were suppressed, up
from 818 cases the previous year, he emphasized.
