Ministry of Health To Take Strict Legal Actions Against 12 Kinds of Illegally-Imported Drugs

Strict legal actions will be taken for all pharmacies and pharmaceutical depots that continue selling 12 kinds of drugs which are illegally imported and are circulating on Cambodia’s market. According to the ministry, 12 kinds of illegal drugs of Seng Thai Company Limited Partnership, a pharmaceutical enterprise, whose identity, packaging, and labels have been found to be exactly the same to legal drugs imported by Premier Medical Co., Ltd.

All local importing companies must stop selling and recall the above-said illegal drugs from all pharmacies and pharmaceutical depots throughout Cambodia. Those 12 kinds of drugs include Chlor-Oph Eye Drops, Chlor-Oph Ointment, Inf-Oph Eye Drops, Dex-Oph Eye-Ear Drops, Lac-Oph Eye Drops, Pred-Oph Eye-Ear Drops, Genta-Oph Eye Drops, Glauco-Oph Eye Drops, Hista-Oph Eye Drops, Poly-Oph Eye Drops, Flu-Oph Eye Drops, and CD-Oph Eye Drops.
