Malaysian Tourists Visit Cambodia with 30 Pick-Up Cars

A total of 106 Malaysian passengers and drivers with 30 pick-up cars traveled across Cambodian-Thai international border gate yesterday for a four-day visit in seven Cambodian provinces and municipality.

This is part of the tourism cooperation between Cambodian and Malaysian private sectors to promote Cambodia, the Kingdom of Wonder, and to increase the mutual understanding between the Cambodian and Malaysian peoples. According to data of the Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia received some 2.2 million foreign visitors in the first semester of this year. The Malaysian tourists have not been ranked in the top ten foreign arrivals to Cambodia yet.

The largest numbers of tourists to Cambodia are from Vietnam, China, South Korea, Laos, Japan, Thailand, the U.S., France, Russia, and the United Kingdom.
