Government through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Cambodia
Office will provide US$5.5 million in grant aid to Cambodia through the
Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) to enhance the waterway under the
“Project for Feasibility Study on Waterway Improvement for Port Logistics
Development in Cambodia”. The Project is aimed at conducting bathymetric
survey, soil test to draw up basic and detail design and environmental impact
review including measures for bank erosion prevention for possible dredging
along the Mekong River from Phnom Penh to Kratie province.
