More Flyovers and Underpasses To Be Constructed in Phnom Penh

Two more flyovers, another underpass and a footpath will be constructed in Phnom Penh to respond to the increasing traffic jams.

The two additional flyovers will be built along the Russian Federation Boulevard, at Tuol Kok traffic lights and at Hanoi Street traffic lights, while the underpass will be constructed at Canadia traffic lights. For the footpath, it will be built along the riverside, from tourism information center near the Royal Palace to Preah Monivong Bridge.

All documents related has submitted to the royal government for approval, and the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the flyovers, underpass and footpath would begin after the inauguration ceremony of Stung Meanchey Flyover in late 2014.
