Cambodia To Host World Conference on Cultural Tourism Next Year

Cambodia will host the World Conference on Cultural Tourism in February next year. This international event will be held under the collaboration between the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism, World Tourism Organization, and UNESCO. It is a new and important event to boost the country’s tourism sector. This event is expected to attract about 1,000 participants who are tourism ministers, cultural ministers, and other concerned parties as well as private sector from different countries around the world.

The Angkor Sankranta 2014 was held successfully from Apr. 13 to 16 in Siem Reap province, home to Angkor temples, a UNESCO’s World Heritage, with the participation of at least 250,000 visitors, including 20,000 foreign tourists.
