Cambodia’s Tax Revenue Increases by 10.8% in September

In September, the General Department of Taxation (GDT) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance collected some 317.88 billion Riel or some US$79.5 million as tax revenue, up 10.8% if compared to the same period a year earlier.

The tax revenue earnings during the first nine months of 2014 saw an increase by 18.2% over the same period last year. This 9 months accounted for 80.6% of the total target stated in the budget law 2014. The increase was reported in all sectors such as: financial service, telecommunications, architecture and construction, refreshment, household appliances, garment, import-export, hotels and guest houses, tobacco, stationary, food production, and so on.
