Cambodia aims to boost trade with Azerbaijan to $100 mln by next year

Cambodia hopes to increase trade with Azerbaijan to $100 million by next year. Cambodia is interested in attracting Azerbaijani investments and establishing lasting business cooperation.

During meetings with the Azerbaijani leadership, all sides expressed their willingness and interest in developing cooperation and establishing trade relations and it is hoped that Cambodia will be able to achieve a trade turnover worth $100 million in 2015. In 2012, Cambodia exported goods worth $0.5 million to Azerbaijan and imported Azerbaijani merchandise worth $7.7 million. In 2013, Cambodian exports to Azerbaijan were minimal while Azerbaijan's imports from Cambodia amounted to $3.2 million.
