Civil society
organizations applauded and welcomed the return to negotiation of the top
leaders of the two winning parties. The opposition leader Sam Rainsy phoned
Prime Minister Hun Sen on Wednesday to discuss the current political issues.
President of the
Neutral and Impartial Committee for Free Election in Cambodia (NEFIC) said the
two political parties would finish their confrontation through speech, return
to negotiation and join the National Assembly to solve out issues together
after phone talk of the top leaders.
Chairman of the Board
of Directors of the Cambodian Center for Human Rights said that he welcomed the
new negotiation of the two parties. He added that the meeting could encourage
the members of parliament of the Cambodia National Rescue Party to join the
National Assembly to raise and discuss national issues together.
