Prime Minister Hun Sen said that Cambodia was eager to have Japanese
investors to build factories and produce goods for exports to the world market.
The premier made comments during his meeting on Sunday with Tishimitsu Gotegi,
Minister of Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Industry of Japan.
The medium and small enterprises are Cambodia’s goals. Currently,
Cambodia not only wants aid from Japan, but also wants Japanese investors to
invest in Cambodia and export products back to Japan.
The meetings were focused on acceleration of economic cooperation
between the two countries. Cambodia has high potential, and especially it is
currently being integrated into the ASEAN Economic Community.
