Best Western International has taken over the management of a riverside hotel in downtown, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Best Western River Palace Hotel stands on the banks of the Tonle Sap River, a popular area for tourists that runs almost parallel to the Mekong River in the capital city. On Agoda.com the hotel rate, prior to the takeover, was pegged at around Bt1,471. The hotel’s 59 rooms and suites many of which overlook the river come with 32-inch LCD TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, work desks, tea and coffee making facilities, walk-in showers and bathtubs.

Best Western is now present in eight ASEAN countries, including six of the region’s capital cities. The hotel is located 1.5 km from Wat Phnom, 1.8 km from the night market and 8.6 km from the city’s international airport.
