Cambodia’s
Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training (MoLVT) issued on June 17 a statement
on working conditions and health and safety at work, urging all entertainment
companies, institutions and enterprises to strictly implement the Cambodian
labor law.
The
12-point statement is aimed to enforce the labor law without discrimination
between workers and employers, said Minister of Labor and Vocational Training. The
statement will also raise awareness of both the workers and employers in the
entertainment services on their duties, rights and interests, and to further
improve the relationship between them.
